Here’s another model from the line of commercial laminators from GBC HeatSeal brand. The GBC HeatSeal H535 Turbo is laminator machine designed to meet higher output needs. It is somewhat of a heavy-duty machine that can be used for higher volume jobs and is the bigger brother of the H425 laminator that was previously featured here.
The HeatSeal H535 contains similar features as the H425. It is equipped with a thermal 4-roller system that ensures high quality and even lamination. It can produce photo-quality consistent results and can handle different laminator pouch sizes from ID tag size up to 12.5-inch wide documents. This makes this machine a versatile all-around device that should meet most office and business laminating needs. It is also capable of using different pouch or film thickness from 1.5 mil to 10 mil.
Unlike the H425, the H535 is designed with feeder tray that helps make sure that documents and laminating sheets or pouches are aligned properly to prevent feeder jamming. An LCD control panel (programmable) makes this laminator machine quite easy to use even for beginners. Like the H425, it is also capable of working as a cold laminator with its non-thermal setting so you can also use self adhesive laminating sheets with it. It is also equipped with the safety shut-off feature when it is left on for 60 minutes without being used.
It’s most significant distinction is its higher work rate. The word Turbo wasn’t appended to its name for nothing because compared to the H425, this unit can produce more results in shorter time with its 40-inch per minute laminating speed which makes it an ideal device for the professional office setting that may require moderate to heavy-duty laminating machines.
The GBC HeatSeal H535 Turbo commercial laminator is designed for the office or the business setting and may be a little overkill for simple and light home office use. It is quite suitable for ID badges, marketing and presentation materials, legal documents, signage or any document with a 12.5-inch width. The commercial-quality design and output capability makes this machine a tad bit pricier than its smaller H425 brother with an approximately $450 price tag on Amazon.
